Website Terms & Disclaimer

1.1. These Website Terms apply to the use of the website www.eventdock.nl and all underlying pages, including the client portal ("the Website"), offered by EventDock B.V. ("EventDock", "we").

1.2. Our General Terms and Conditions apply to rental, sale, installation and recurring services. The processing of personal data is subject to our Privacy Policy and, where camera footage is processed on behalf of a client, to the Data Processing Agreement. For an account in the client portal, separate acceptance of terms may be requested during registration.

1.3. In the event of a conflict between these Website Terms and a specific Agreement, the General Terms and Conditions, an SLA or the Data Processing Agreement, the document that specifically relates to the relevant service or processing shall prevail.

2.1. You may use the Website to view information, request a quote, place a booking and manage your account.

2.2. It is not permitted to:
- Use the Website for unlawful purposes or in violation of these Website Terms
- Circumvent security measures, exploit vulnerabilities or conduct security research, except to the extent permitted under our Responsible Disclosure policy
- Collect large amounts of data automatically (scraping), except by search engines in accordance with our robots.txt
- Overload the Website or disrupt its availability
- Upload or distribute malicious code
- Commercially reuse content from the Website without our consent
- Impersonate another person or organisation

2.3. Our Responsible Disclosure policy is available at www.eventdock.nl/en/responsible-disclosure and in /.well-known/security.txt. In the event of misuse, we may block access to the Website or to an account.

3.1. An account is required to use the client portal. You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide.

3.2. You are responsible for actions performed using your account, to the extent that they can be attributed to you.

3.3. Because an account may provide access to security systems and camera footage, you shall take reasonable security measures: use a strong and unique password, do not share your login credentials, use multi-factor authentication (MFA) where available or required, and limit access to persons who need it.

3.4. Do you suspect misuse of, or unauthorised access to, your account? Report this immediately via info@eventdock.nl or +31 85 505 5059.

3.5. We may suspend or terminate an account in the event of misuse, fraud, non-payment, the provision of incorrect information, a security incident, suspected unauthorised access, a legal obligation, or necessary maintenance and emergency measures.

3.6. Suspending or blocking access to the client portal is not the same as suspending operational services. Whether and when EventDock may suspend or terminate the supply of Products or Services is governed exclusively by the Agreement and the General Terms and Conditions.

4.1. We compile the information on the Website with care, but cannot guarantee that it is always complete, current and free of errors.

4.2. Stated prices, specifications, availability and delivery times are indicative and subject to change and typographical errors. All statements on the Website constitute an invitation to submit a request and do not qualify as an offer. An Agreement is concluded solely in the manner described in our General Terms and Conditions.

4.3. Results from configurators, calculators, automated recommendations and comparison tools are indicative, unless expressly stated otherwise.

4.4. Automatically or AI-generated information, including advice, configuration proposals, indicative calculations and support answers, may contain errors or omissions. Where commercial or technical specifications are concerned, such information is only binding after written confirmation by EventDock.

4.5. Photos, videos, 3D renders, AI-generated visualisations, diagrams and other visualisations of products and setups are illustrative; the actual execution and hardware configuration may differ.

4.6. Technical performance and stated ranges, including detection distance, zoom range, IR range, coverage, battery life and connectivity, may depend on factors such as placement, lighting, weather conditions, network connection, configuration, firmware, environment and the equipment used.

4.7. Detection, classification and recognition functionalities, including person, vehicle, licence plate and facial recognition, may produce incorrect or missed detections and recognitions. Stated accuracy, detection distances or performance are no guarantee of correct detection or identification in every situation.

4.8. No information on the Website constitutes a guarantee that incidents, theft, vandalism, unauthorised access, damage or other events will be prevented, detected or recorded.

4.9. Information regarding regulations, the GDPR, AI, licence plate or facial recognition on the Website (including blog articles) is general information and not legal advice. Have your specific situation assessed by an expert.

5.1. All intellectual property rights to the Website, including texts, photos, videos, design, logos, trademarks, icons and source code, belong to EventDock or its licensors.

5.2. You may view, print and share content from the Website for personal or internal business use. Reproduction, publication or commercial exploitation is only permitted with prior written consent.

5.3. The use of our name, trademarks, logos and visual material is permitted solely in accordance with our General Terms and Conditions or with our prior written consent.

5.4. Names, trademarks, images and specifications of third parties referenced on the Website may be the property of their respective rights holders. UniFi and Ubiquiti are trademarks of Ubiquiti Inc.; other trademarks belong to their respective owners.

5.5. Linking to our pages with a standard hyperlink is permitted, as long as this does not create a false impression of cooperation or approval.

The Website may contain links to websites, apps or services of third parties. We have no control over those websites and are not responsible for their content, availability, security or privacy practices.

A link does not imply that we collaborate with or vouch for that party. Always read the terms and conditions and the privacy policy of the website you visit.

7.1. We shall make every effort to keep the Website available and secure, but provide no guarantee of uninterrupted availability of the Website.

7.2. We may temporarily take the Website out of service for maintenance, updates or security measures.

7.3. We may change or terminate functionalities of the Website. This shall not affect agreements already concluded.

7.4. This article concerns the informational Website only. The availability of paid cloud, monitoring, connectivity or platform services is governed by the relevant Agreement, the General Terms and Conditions and any agreed SLA. For those services, no guaranteed response time, resolution time or uptime applies unless expressly set out in an SLA or service agreement.

8.1. Use of the Website is at your own risk. To the extent permitted by law, EventDock is not liable for damage resulting from the use of or reliance on information on the Website, except in cases of intent or deliberate recklessness on the part of EventDock.

8.2. To the extent permitted by law, EventDock is not liable for damage caused by malware, cyberattacks, internet, network, DNS or provider outages, unauthorised access attempts, mutilated or delayed transmission of electronic messages, or failures of third-party infrastructure, services or websites, insofar as these lie outside EventDock's reasonable control.

8.3. If an Agreement exists between the user and EventDock, the liability provisions of the applicable General Terms and Conditions apply to liability in connection with that Agreement.

8.4. Nothing in these Website Terms limits the statutory rights of consumers.

9.1. Complaints about the Website can be sent to info@eventdock.nl. We will respond no later than 14 days after receipt of the complaint.

9.2. Complaints about Products or Services are governed by the complaints procedure in our General Terms and Conditions.

9.3. Do you see unlawful content? Report this via info@eventdock.nl.

9.4. Do you suspect a vulnerability in our systems? Report this in accordance with our Responsible Disclosure policy at www.eventdock.nl/en/responsible-disclosure. Where that policy is complied with, we will not take legal action against the reporter.

10.1. We may amend these Website Terms. The current version is always available on this page, with the version number and the date of the last amendment at the top.

10.2. These Website Terms are governed by Dutch law, on the understanding that mandatory provisions that cannot validly be excluded remain fully applicable.

10.3. All disputes arising from or in connection with these Website Terms shall, to the extent permitted by law, be submitted exclusively to the competent Dutch court in the district in which EventDock has its registered office.
